Herbal Animals Summon Sweet Dreams

With all the technology targeting children today, I wonder if traditional toys such as stuffed animals still play a role in accompanying an infant through childhood. Herbal Animals creates eco-friendly pillows with certified organically grown herbs, seeds and cotton for children of all ages, from 5 to 105.

Taken from a “centuries-old tradition of using herbs to help summon sweet dreams,” Herbal Animals has created an assortment of animal pillows with varying colours, with each loveable critter having its unique herbal scent to stimulate calmness and relaxation. Each pillow is filled with a blend of herbs and organically grown flax that releases its scent but rubbing him or her gently. In general, Herbal Animals keep their  scent for around one year but is dependent on how often they’re rubbed. “When you rub your Herbal Animal, you are breaking open these herbs and releasing the oils, hence the scent.”

Because they are made with fax seed and herbs, Herbal Animals can only be spot cleaned with a damp sponge, and then towel or blow dried on low heat – placing them in a washing machine will irreparably damage them, so the best alternative to washing is prevention.

Made in the USA, the company donates to organizations such as Feed the children, The Humane Society and Save the Children so both animals and kids can lead happier lives.

Thank you Herbal Animals for making our world wonderful.
